Kill the Unicorns is a blind bidding and collection card game. You play as one of the Queendom's unique characters - catch as many unicorns as you can, ideally without accidentally capturing a smelly unicorn or a Pigicorn!

We have only 2 4 H O U R S left now, this really is going to be MENTAL! You may have seen the numbers change a lot quicker than the earlier days of this campaign, we have only 1 challenge left until the last stretch goal, Forbes just wrote about us (really!) and we want to share this with you, you are the ones who make this happen!
So, as a special surprise, we want to give you an early Christmas present: the 2 player rules are ready! Rejoice! They will be included in the box when your pledge arrives!
Now guys, the final hours madness is ON let’s get to the 300k or 8000 backers and make this campaign even more awesome than it already is :)

Ah, the Gnomes. They’ve been rather quiet, until now - because now you unlocked the 5th Stretch Goal! Hooray!!
Dear Unicorn Hunters,
Cue the “special request” cards, a selection of 6 cards that you can, but don’t have to add to a game of Kill the Unicorns. Each of the “special request” cards outlines a specific request that the gnomes have during the hunting season - and will pay extra gold for! The cards are a new way to play the game and switch things up, because the “special request’ applies to all players at the table, and adds a new level of betrayal and mistrust - super fun!
Remember, if we happen to reach $300k (or 8000 backers) we will reveal the secret surprise we have in store for you!

Hello Unicorn Hunters!
We have really good news! As promised, today is the day we will do a Kickstarter Live!
Later today, our beloved colleague Rahim is going to read one of the three passionate speeches highlighting the dangers of unicorn pollution! And he will be in cosplay!
We will stream today at 17:00 CET, 11am (UTC-5), 9am (UTC-8).
We count on you to encourage Rahim, he will need some courage!

We return with a different kind of update! Today we will let you get to know Levi better, the man behind the funny artwork!
Here are a few questions we asked Levi to answer, he’s following the campaign, so if you leave a message below he’ll read them and maybe even respond! Remember, we have the “Adopt a Unicorn” pledge that is extra special because Levi will draw whatever you ask him to! Only 4 remain for now.
Interview with Levi
Where do you come from?
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area! I can occasionally hear gunshots from my house-- it's very American.
What’s your background?
I briefly studied animation in college, but I'm mostly self-taught. My artistic career has been a pleasant surprise.
When did you start illustrating, and why?
I've been drawing since I was a child, but I started pouring more time into it about 5 years ago. I always wanted a career in comics, so I started making my own, as well as doing small freelance gigs on the side.
What projects have you worked on in the past?
I do a lot of character design work. Some for kids books, some for video games that may/may never see the light of day. I've also spent a lot of time making comics, and designing t-shirts.
What is your dream project?
Comics! Comics forever! I've got a lot of stories I'm excited to tell.
What has been your most amazing moment you experienced in your career?
Quitting my day job in order to focus on client work was pretty amazing. I don't know if I'll ever top that feeling!

Breaking news from the Queendom!

You may have noticed that we removed the challenges related to rating Kill the Unicorns - long story short, it didn’t pan out as planned, and we received comments and messages asking for us to remove them.
In 2017 we played Kill the Unicorns at a lot of fairs worldwide, and thousands of people have played it by now. We also made the print & play available to download for free and thought that people who have played it could review and rate it on BGG. Because it was a challenge however, some people started rating the game without actually having played it, and in return we started getting some negative comments that we shouldn’t ask for reviews before the game is actually in retail.
This morning the team agreed to replace the challenges related to rating and commenting on the game with the <3 on BGG instead.
In other news, we have now received several speeches against unicorn pollution in the Queendom, which we promised to record for you in a Kickstarter live in cosplay! We want to stream it this Friday, December 15th so keep checking back, we will announce the exact time very soon!
