Shipments on their way to the US backers and last calls for Europe!

Hello everyone,
US orders are on their way now after the Canadian backers have been delivered these past weeks!
Backers in the US are receiving their tracking numbers directly by email for these orders shipped from our partner's warehouse in Indiana, either by FedEx or USPS.
On our side, we received 2230 tracking numbers out of the 2770 total orders in US, Puerto Rico & Chili. The remaining orders for which we do not have a tracking yet should be updated soon according to Bigblue, the fulfillment company we are working with!
Thus, if you are in the US and didn’t receive your tracking number by the end of this week, please feel free to contact us at [email protected] and we should be able to assist you.

Backers from China, Australia or Canada, don't hesitate to share the love as well, we already got awesome pics already :)

About Europe, we had the pleasure to learn that the games could be released from the customs without any further action from us, but we are still waiting an answer from them about the Pigicorn Plushes that are still blocked.
French customs have asked us at this time to change the marking labels on the plushes to better fit with the European rules, and more specifically about the Polybag Label security warnings. Indeed, the Polybag has to show the security warnings in all the languages of the countries the product is going to be shipped to! We are angry tired about this never ending situation. We are trying to be as reactive as possible, we sent a new label for approval few hours after getting the news so they can allow us to print and stick these new marking to have the plushies released. We got no answer since that and it has been more than 3 weeks.
Thus, we decided earlier this week to have the released games and expansions delivered to the warehouse (even though it's going to be more expensive to have two shipping batches) so we can start the shipping to all the backers that did not take a Pigicorn Plush. Thus, as soon as we will have an answer from the customs about the Plushes, we will deliver them right away to the warehouse and finally complete the fulfillment of the campaign!
If we still do not have an answer from the customs before the games are delivered to the warehouse and orders are starting (expected by late next week) we may consider the option of shipping these pledges as well without the Pigicorn Plush and offer these backers to receive the plushes a bit later in a separate shipment.
We are so sorry that some of you have to experience additional delays, but you can trust that we are putting every efforts to have the games delivered the fastest as we can.
Because European shipments will happen within the next few weeks, we kindly ask again to everyone in Europe: If you still need to modify your shipping address or to confirm where it is going to be shipped, please email us at [email protected] within the next 48 hours (final list will be provided to the warehouse by Friday night).

Hello everyone,
We now have accurate information in every shipping zones that justify a communication to all the backers! Some of you already got information from the comment section on which we have been actively communicating during these past weeks. So please find below an update on shippings for every zones:
Shipments to all the following countries have been done from China and every backer from there should now received their pledge:
Argentina, Belarus, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, China, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Faroe Islands, Guam, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Republic of Korea, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Norway, Peru, Philippines, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, Viet Nam.
Shipments to Australia and New Zealand have been done and every backer from there should now received their pledge.
Shipments to Canada have been done and every backer from there should now received their pledge.
General information:
Backers who chose the Pick-up Points option in these zones also received individually an email confirming the delivery in the chose Pick-up Point and have been welcomed to go there to get their pledges.
As soon as we will have the confirmation from every Pick-up Point in each zone that the backers have been delivered, we will proceed to the refunds of the shipping fees using either Stripe (the service we charged you with) or PayPal (if your credit card changed in the meantime). All these backers will be receiving an email prior to the refund to confirm about this refund option.

- You received it but something is missing or damaged;

About the 2 remaining zones from where we were still waiting for news:

USA (+ Chile & Puerto Rico)
Games and Plushes have been delivered to the warehouse a while ago and we were waiting for actions from Snakes & Lattes who is in charge of the operation in North America. We guess it was easier for them to combine both US and Canadian shipments at the same period as they will be managing the after-sales (if any) on the pledges of all the backers there.
So, now the Canadian pledges have been shipped out these past few weeks, the US shipments will now be starting this week! Every backers from there will be receiving a tracking number by email and get their pledges at the address we have in our files few days after that.
If some backer still need to modify their shipping address or to confirm where it is going to be shipped, please email us at [email protected] within the next 48 hours (shippings should start on Thursday or Friday at the latest).
All the backers from the following countries have been waiting for the French customs to take a decision about the 1st player mini-figure that didn’t pass the CE testing reports:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Martinique, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom.
After some fight to make the French customs understand the reasons of such an issue and offered several options to release them (such as adding a sticker on the boxes or removing the mini-figure to deliver them separately), they just confirmed that the games will finally be released!!! They also ran some extra controls on the Pigicorn Plushes in the meantime and are asking us to modify the text on the Polybag stickers and will then be able to release the whole lot if we are paying a fine.
According to these great news about the customs, we expect to get the goods delivered at the French warehouse by the end of the month and start the shippings right away!
Essen Spiel as the most important event of the year is approaching (Oct 24th to 27th) and some of our international partners will be selling the retail version of the game there. Delivering all the backers prior to any sales of the retail versions is mandatory for us. Customers who will buy this retail version won’t get all the cool bonuses that you are getting in your Kickstarter version (like the 1st Player mini-figure, the Player Mats and the extra character pack included inside your KS games) in any ways, but we still want you to have a lot of fun before all the people who haven’t been part of the Kickstarter campaign almost 2 years ago... !

Informations générales :
Les contributeurs qui ont choisi l’option de livraison en Pick-up Points ont chacun reçu un email confirmant les livraisons dans les Points Relais pour les inviter à retirer leurs pledges.
Dès que nous aurons reçu la confirmation de livraison de tous les contributeurs de la part des Points Relais dans chacune des zones, nous procéderons aux remboursements des frais d’envois en utilisant soit Stripe (le service avec lequel les frais d’envois ont été payés) ou bien PayPal (si votre carte de crédit a changé depuis). Les Jeux et les Peluches ont été livrés à l’entrepôt il y a un moment et nous attendions des actions de Snakes & Lattes qui est en charge de nos opérations en Amérique du Nord. Nous supposons qu’il était plus simple de combiner les envois au Canada et aux États-Unis sur la même période de temps car c’est eux qui vont gérer le service après-ventes des commandes de tous les contributeurs dans cette zone.
Donc, maintenant que les commandes au Canada ont été envoyées ces dernières semaines, celles aux USA vont partir dès cette semaine ! Tous les contributeurs Américains vont recevoir leur numéro de suivi par email et la livraison de leur commande sera reçu à l’adresse que nous avons actuellement dans nos fichiers quelques jours plus tard.
Si certains contributeur ont encore besoin de modifier leur adresse d’expédition ou souhaitent confirmer celle que nous avons dans nos fichiers, merci de nous écrire à [email protected] dans les prochaines 48 heures (les envois devraient partir jeudi ou vendredi au plus tard).
Tous les contributeurs des pays suivants sont toujours dans l’attente d’une décision des douanes Française à propos du jeton 1er joueur qui n’a pas passé le test CE :

Après un long combat pour faire comprendre aux douanes Françaises les raisons de cette problématique et leur avoir proposé plusieurs options (comme rajouter un autocollant sur les boîtes ou bien retirer le jeton 1er joueur des boîtes pour les livrer séparément), elles nous ont confirmé que les jeux allaient finalement être libérés !!! Elles ont également souhaité réaliser des contrôles supplémentaires sur les Peluches Pigicorn dans le même temps et nous ont demandé de modifier les textes apposés sur le sac plastique et vont ainsi libérer l’ensemble du lot si nous payons une amende.
Grâce à cette super nouvelle de la part des douanes, nous prévoyons de livrer les marchandises à l’entrepôt en France d’ici la fin du mois et de démarrer les envois dans la foulée !
Le salon Essen Spiel en Allemagne, qui est l’événement le plus important de l’année approche à grands pas (24 au 27 Octobre) et certains de nos partenaires à l’international vont vendre sur place des versions “retail”. La livraison de tous les backers avant que des boîtes de cette version “retail” ne soient vendues reste une obligation pour nous. Les clients qui vont acheter cette version retail n’auront en aucun cas les bonus super cool que vous aurez dans vos versions Kickstarter (comme le jeton 1er jour, les tapis de jeu et le personnage exclusif qui sont inclus à l’intérieur de vos boîtes), mais nous souhaitons que vous puissiez apprécier le jeu avant toutes les personnes qui n’ont pas participé à la campagne Kickstarter il y a bientôt 2 ans … !

Warehouse deliveries and possible issue in Europe

Hello everyone,
Please find below the information we have today about the future deliveries of the games for each region. We will send other updates when all games from a region will be sent, meaning the backers there received a notification by email with their tracking number.
From Asia
We had some unexpected delay from this zone but it has been confirmed that the pledge are now going to be shipped within the next few days!
From Canada
Our local partner Snakes & Lattes Logistics received the games and are currently working on the fulfillment of a big project they received before. So, we can expect the pledges to be shipped not before the end of next week.
From the US
The boat transportation has brought some troubles on the Pigicorn plushes because of the humidity. Thus, we had to check these one by one to make sure we are not shipping damaged products to the backers. Because of this extra check needed and the high number of address change and Pick-up Point answers, we should finally match the same timing than Canada for the delivery to the backers.
From Australia
Games and Plushes arrived to Australia and these pledge should be shipped in the next few days!
From Europe
The boat arrived last week at le Havre and the container is currently clearing the customs. This part of the process is taking us most of our time and energy because we have been facing a possible important issue. Indeed, the plushes cleared the customs but the CE testing reports for the games have been received very late (today for the final version, and 3 days ago for the draft), and it appears that the Unicorn mini-figure as First Player token is not passing the tests because of the horn!
So, we are now waiting for news from the French customs after explaining them about these testings coming much too late to react and the fact these games are only rewards so they are not supposed to be sold like a mass market product.
Depending on the decision from the French customs, here are the possible options:
- Customs are cleared anyway and we can deliver the warehouse directly
- A "+14" sticker has to be added on each game to clear the customs and be delivered to the warehouse
- The mini-figure has to be removed from the games (at this time we do not know if it will be possible to clear the customs for this small part only and deliver separately).
- Customs cannot be cleared and we have to ship back the goods to China (or destroy them but this is not an option in any case!).
We will let you know about this final decision and what could be the impacts in terms of delay for Europe as soon as we have the information from the customs. This may take some days to get an answer now we sent all the documents to them.

In the meantime we also prepared a form for the backers to report an issue with their order before or after the delivery. Shipping preparation and final notice about the Pick-up Points

Please find below some news about the work done these past weeks!
Next update will be sent when all the pledge will be shipped from every zones (China, US, Canada, Australia and Europe).
Shipping update
According to last communicated ETAs, you will find below an update per zone:
Games are available at the Chinese warehouse and ready to be shipped. We had to modify the final backers spreadsheets to fit with the warehouse standards and also to manage to split between all the backers and those who chose a delivery in a Pick-up Point. This required to manually change plenty of lines on several spreadsheet like we could have done for last minute address change…
Anyway, some of you also asked the list of countries delivered from China and you will find it below. All backers from these countries will receive a tracking number in the next weeks as soon as their pledge will be shipped by the warehouse.
List of countries delivered from China:
Singapore, Switzerland, Brazil, Thailand, Norway, Israel, Mexico, Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Russian Federation, Hong Kong, Argentina, China, Indonesia, Korea (Republic of), Brunei Darussalam, Peru, Viet Nam, Guam, Costa Rica, Taiwan, Faroe Islands, South Africa, Ecuador, Lebanon, Belarus, India, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, Turkey.
The boat arrived on June 10th as expected and we got the notice today about the custom clearance being done. Thus, we can expect the games to arrive in the US warehouse in the next few days.
All the backers from the US & Canada who chose a delivery in a Pick-up Point received today a form to be filled out. This will give us more time to adjust the final backers spreadsheets to arrange deliveries accordingly.
Also, Snakes & Lattes confirmed a pick-up on July 1st to bring the pledge to Canadian backers into their warehouse in Toronto.
Delivery to backers is still planned starting no later than July 5th and we are waiting for our local partner confirmation of a more precise date.
The specific form for Pick-up Points in NZ and Australia will be sent to the concerned backers next week.
The games are still expected to arrive at Le Havre in France on July 17th and we are currently finalizing the list of possible Pick-up Points. Thus, a form will also be sent by early July to the backers from Europe who took this Pick-up Point option!
Also, please note that all the other countries that are not shipped from China as mentioned above will be managed from Europe!
Pick-up Points forms
Several forms have been sent this past month to either backers and Pick-up Points.
Now, only the forms starting with “[NEEDED ANSWER] Kill the Unicorns Pick-up Point choice” are important.
Indeed, we will no longer accept Pick-up Points requests from backers as we now need to focus on finishing the final backers spreadsheets and avoid this way any extra delay.
Address change process
Changing backers address is still possible but is becoming more and more difficult as the final backers spreadsheets are being sent to the different warehouses to prepare the shipping.
In addition, this is no more possible to manually update your address from BackerKit as the shipping address for every backer is locked since April 24th.
So, if you still require to update your address, can you then please send us quickly at kill-the-unicorns@morning your complete new address that has to include the following fields:
